Artist History
Born in a small town in Pennsylvania called Muncy, Debbie began piano lessons at the age of eight. She continued playing through high school and college for various choirs, banquets and receptions. In 1978 Debbie joined the Air Force and toured the South playing keyboards for the Air Force Band of the Gulf Coast’s” rock band, “Blue Lightning.”
Later she was transferred to California, where she played keyboards for the Air Force Band of the Golden West. While in the Air Force, Debbie also played for many protocol and military dining - ins, as well as accompanying stars such as Bill Cosby, Phyllis Diller, Johnny Yune, Lorne Greene, Ricarado Montebon, Billy Barty, and John Shuck. Debbie also appeared on the Merv Griffeth Christmas Television Special. While in California, she studied piano under Terry Trotter, at the time the accompanist for Steve Lawrence and Edie Gourmet.
After leaving the Air Force in 1986, Debbie appeared for the Mission Inn located in Riverside California, the Roosevelt Hotel in Hollywood, the Sheraton in Riverside, and also various weddings and receptions in the Southern California area.
Currently she plays keyboards with two Christian rock bands, “Shepard’s Heart” and “Reassigned” and is the House wedding pianist for Edwards’s Mansion in Southern California. Also she teaches selected students all styles of music.
Debbie decided to record her music due to popular request from many fans, family, and friends. She also enjoys listening to hard Rock and contemporary jazz with the Latin feel.
