Artist History IMPORTANT NOTE: up until february 5th 2001 i used the "performance name" d-fault, but have discovered that both a metallica cover band and some other electro-tweaker were using the same name. my new electronic-incoherence identity is "mellonhead". i started this little electronic music "project" in the fall of 1999. i have done pieces for television commercials and an electronic incoherence task-force from rockford illinois known as paul harvey oswald. (very much like negativeland.) in fact, pho is where i got my start back in 1991, i used a single front-loading cd player and would lock samples from pop songs into loops using simple point a to point b lock insertion and get lucky on occasion.
