Artist description
Electronic music programmed and composed on the computer using a variety of compositional tools such as software and hardware synths, sequencers, outboard effects, and a few custom software applications I developed for myself. I stopped using the keyboard to compose 10 years ago -- I feel it has given me freedom. |

Artist History
I was classically trained from youth on the piano and attended college as a theory/composition/piano performance major, but I dropped out when I married my beautiful wife, Vanessa. I continued to compose avante garde music and had some spins on FM radio in Los Angeles many years ago. Continuing my study with private instructors, workshops and seminars at the University of Idaho, preferring the symphonic sound but always feeling compelled to fuse beats and funky rhythms in my music, I developed my style in electronic music. One of the most memorable and enjoyable efforts, "Composition Seminar" or just "CompSem," was the impetus for the band name. |
