Artist description
bluechannelfun developed into a full four-piece (guitar, bass & drums) in April of 2002. Hailing from the muddy banks of Pembroke on the Ottawa River, this great indie band is enjoying applause by their friends, peers and fans as the turn-out grows in support for their live shows. The band is: singer/songwriter/guitarist Conrad Christink, drummer Matt Lemay, lead guitarist Jed Hermitte and Damon Criger riding the bass.
The wealth of material written for the group is the result of a close writing partnership between its founders: Christink and Lemay. Each shares the duties of lyrics, chord progression and overall "feel" of a song. From this stage, the song's arrangement and sound is sewn together with a soild bass line and polished until it is deemed ready to play live.
Their literate, melodic and well rounded compositions caught the attention of many in the local music community including the considerable talents of Jordon Zadorozny of "Blinker the Star" , stellar Montreal rockers LEETCHDRIVE and Sam Roberts and the Secret Weapon.
