Artist History
The Heavenly Wonders have been together for about 5 years. The group was formed among church members and church musicians. The Heavenly Wonders have performed in numerous church and community functions since the group's initial start. The group members all attend Pentecostal Temple Church of Our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, located in the heart of Jackson, Mississippi. Bishop Eddie Thompson, who is also the bass player for the Heavenly Wonders is also the pastor of the church. The church's motto is, "Soul Winners for Christ", and the group is an extension of the church. Our beliefs are steadfast in the Apostles' Doctrine, rooted in Acts 2:38(Baptism in the Name of Jesus Christ, evidenced by speaking in tongues through the power of God's precious Holy Ghost). We strive to minister the Word of God through song to those that are lost and desire to find salvation in the Name of Jesus. |
