Artist History
The band was originally started in 1976 by Keith Edmonds and Rick Lipnicus. Charles Grose and Jon started about a week later. The Aspect Band played the Danbury, CT, area for many years and became popular. Keith and Jon parted ways around 1978 and did not get back together until May 11, 2000. Jon went to Keith's studio and listened to what Keith was doing with his music. He was writing the drum and keyboard parts, playing his guitar and singing. Jon had been writing his own music, and had about 15 songs that he wanted to record. Keith and Jon decided to get back together and work on these songs. Keith wrote the drum and synth parts, and plays guitar. Jon play bass and they both sing. Other parts are played by various local artists. The Aspect Band has put out a CD called "My Hammer is my Axe." They expect to have the work completed by the end of summer 2001. Welcome to their version of the red sports car.
The result of this work is a blend of Rock, Celtic, Prog and Jazz styles in very unique style!
Enjoy!!
