Artist History
A beat up acoustic guitar found under a bed propelled the evolution of music for Scott at age 13. He began to learn chords, locking himself in his bedroom for hours on end, so much so that his grandparents questioned his stability in a social context. Little did they know he would soon be seeking the spotlight any where it would happen to shine. Playing electric guitar in various bands he became know for his solo style reminisent of Slash. in 1994 he began writing on acoustic again. These songs were intimate little laments about girlfriends and daydreams, which are actually still some of the most requested at shows. In 1995, at a christian camp he was a sponsor for, he found he had a knack for the sort of coffeehouse coversation songs he had heard from groups like Edwin McCain and Caedmans Call. He began playing local clubs and festivals, churches, anywhere that had a mic and a few places that didnt. now in 2001 He is currently recording a Demo scheduled to be released in may. |
