Artist description
"Although some of my music may wind up
having a fair sense of "public appeal",
It may be interesting for some listeners
to know I am a hobbyist composer who has
loved synthesis based, explorative music
since 1975.
The more I found to listen to, the more
I yearned to be able to create and work
with these types of instruments and sounds.
Fortunately, I've had a solid background
in structured and written music.
Finally, in the early 80's I obtained
my first analog synthesizer keyboard.
I began to compose and learn synthesis.
I also found how much I enjoyed
"straying from structure and the norm".
I am currently using "loop" software,
Acid Pro,to compose entire pieces strictly
within the program on my home pc. Next year
or sooner, I intend to record live analog
synthesizer along with loop programming.
The bottom line? I love to make fun,
unusual, interesting and even odd music.
Music that finds new moods... the moods
between." |

Musical Influences
A mish mash of all my favorite musical artists from birth to present. They wound up being largely electronic or extremely eclectic and individualistic such as Todd Rundgren for one. |

Press Reviews
An email from Scott Sommers of KPFT 90.1 FM Pacifica Radio Houston, after asking him to offer a review of my music with which he is quite familiar: Sure. How's this for a draft: "Vince's music is of a unique nature that makes it potentially deleterious to humans and small animals. The Surgeon General would have made this statement, but only fragments of him could be found after his listening session. Proceed with caution and enjoy! "Uh, well, it is only a draft...See you next month!-Scott |
