Artist History Jr. Robby was one of the first artists to sign to PSM in early 1994, and released two singles entitled "Boy Want de Gun" and"Miracle" in a 7-inch "Double Single" format.The singles charted in many different reggae markets in the U.S. and Europe and got 'nuff play in clubs as Jr. did shows every week to promote the singles. The riddims are a unique blend of hip-hop and reggae and were constructed around his vocals, yet Nicodemus chose to voice 'Boy/gun' riddim for his own track "Hand Inna Lions Mouth." For the past 5 years, Jr. has been devoting most of his time to his own production, working with many other artists and writing, producing and performing with The New Dealers an SF-based, experimental hip-hop band. Their latest release "Best New Album" is a blend of Pop, Rock, Hip-Hop and Reggae, featuring artists' like DJ Quest, The Automator, Rocker-T. and Scientist and is due to be released in early 2001. Recently, The Dealers have teamed up with Sony, Inc. and E-marker.com to release 3 songs on a web-based compilation. For information on this check E-marker.com, the 411 Tour.
