Press Reviews
“The band members come with diverse music pedigrees. It's the diversity that makes this band so good at its progressive style. [Rob Kneeland]... has the percussive side of the instrument [mandolin] down cold. He combines with stand-up bass player Nate Edgar to create a great rhythm section. Edgar’s style brings an extra dimension to this band that you don’t usually find in acoustic music...My favorite musician on this album is Ellen Carlson. She seems to be everywhere and everything she plays seems to fit perfectly.” —Kris Garnjost, JAM Music Magazine “High Range is a band to keep an eye on, as is their lead songwriter, Todd Jones. In the meantime, fans of eclecticism and musicians like Peter Rowan, old New Grass Revival, or Old & In the Way might want to give these North Easterners a listen.” —David Royko, Bluegrass Unlimited |
