Artist History Earth Is Not On Tape is the Brainchild of Poet, Producer, Scriptwriter, TV and Radio Host Laura Lonshein Ludwig. She has many other brainchildren, one of which was to interface with the goings-on of The Museum of Sound Recording, to record these wonderful artistic variety shows of poetry,theater and music, back in 1996, when the Museum of Sound Recording was host to Session Night at the Museum, Friday and Saturday nights at 295 Douglass Street, Brooklyn, NY. The when we lost the lease on that space in Aug. of 1997, went on to continue this remarkable collaboration at the Resistance Theater in Prospect Heights, Brooklyn, NY and Tyr Throne's The Tribe on Duane Street, Wall St, area of Manhattan, then on to Eco Books, Sackett and Union Streets, Park Slope, Brooklyn, NY. These are mastered recordings of these Events.

Group Members The principal Members of this effort are Laura Lonshein Ludwig, Poet and Producer, and Dan Gaydos, President of the Museum of Sound Recording.Jose Lugo is the Video Director and some of the recording engineers have been Jim DeSalvo,owner of Beanstudio Mastering, and Museum member, Patrick, Jason Candler of SoundDimensions and Museum member as well, and many others.
