Artist History
Andrew has been a member of a hardcore faction of Portsmouth piss heads known as 'The Pompey Posse' since the summer of 1991, when his trainer and mentor Glen Franckeiss took him under his wing and taught him the ways of the drinking world. Since then, Andrew and the whole Posse have experienced a broad range of drinking activities - some embarassing, others worthy of repeated boastings. The Pompey Posse have a reputation comparable to that of The Borg: subliminally assimilating members into the collective mind, and subsequently sucking all of their life's value away from them, slowy transforming each individual into an automated beverage consuming monster, only ever content when downing pint after pint of the Barkeep's finest frothing ale, before moving on to a seriously unsuitable nightclub to generally ogle members of the opposite sex, and get absolutely nowhere near any vague sexual conquests. In the rare event of an act of copulation, each and every member of The Pompey Posse is required to give detailed descriptions of any debauched act carried out, and demonstrate individual positions by means of a series of diagrams, photographs and illustrations. Since the early days of pub and club-going, Andrew has often taken discreet recording equipment along with him to capture the true adrenaline rush that is a night out with The Pompey Posse. These recordings are later edited, sampled, and mixed into cutting edge electronic dance tunes. Ever since the early years of drinking, these recordings have become near legendary - 1996's "Margate - The Pompey Posse On Tour", being a reknowned classic in its own right. |
