Artist description
As poet, lover, and friend, Xabiton is the first of his kind. Growing up in Tacoma, Washington on R&B music Xabiton brings a lot of those ideas and concepts to the mic. He also uses his poetry to help write his music to make him a first and true original. Xabiton began his music career in his middle school choir. Spending two out of three years in their elite group. After middle school music became an addiction for Xabiton and he found an every way he could think of to make music an everyday part of his life. During high school he joined their choir as well joining their top group during his sophomore year. After accomplishing all of his musical goals for the moment he still felt like something was missing. So to fulfill his hunger for more he began working on his R&B solo album titled Lyke No Otha. He wrote and produced this thirteen-track album. After receiving flattering comments he decided to up them one more and showcase himself once more on his album Tha Coola Side. This album showed Xabiton's Hip-Hop and poetic talents even more than the first. This record showed that Xabiton had feelings and was more than just a kid looking for a girl for the night. This album contained fifteen tracks and covered more bases from the dedication to the artists before him in The Greatest to the emotional love songs It Keeps Playin Me and Alot Of Growin Up. This album also had four interludes containing poetry written by Xabiton to add to the depth of the music. Shortly after releasing Tha Coola Side, Xabiton was chosen as one of five performers out of over 100 applicants for a local Battle of the Bands contest, as the only urban music act. Even though Xabiton did not win the controversial contest, he proved to the public that he is a force to recognize. Currently he is working with other local artists on putting out a mix tape which is currently untitled. It will contain songs and production by Xabiton and other Seattle artists.

Press Reviews
"His skills are strong and hes got the voice for this style."

"Xabiton isnt wack and I definitely prefer him to a typical commercial rapper"
- Jani Cortesini @ Godsofmusic.com
"The lyrical quality of the piece is great and I am pleased with the message the artist conveyed. I guarantee the
first time you listen to this track it will capture you. Another important aspect of hiphop/r&b music is the beat,
and this one gets my vote. I'm eager for more tracks from Xabiton, and I look forward to seeing his progression."
