Artist History
This five-piece from Brisbane, Australia formed in 1998 when Eric, Daniel, William and Sean - who had been friends since primary school - decided to get a band together. Originally known as "Dark Room" (because they rehearsed in one) the group has since added a fifth member, Liam, and the current line-up has been in place for around 18 months. Wipsnade Zoo has spent this time rehearsing and playing gigs around Brisbane, including several festivals, the Alley Bar and the Paddo tavern. Early 2001 saw a very limited release of the demo single Dark side/Re-Unite. An EP will be released mid 2001, and is being eagerly awaited by Wipsnade Zoo's throng of devotees. |
