Artist History
San Diego born guitarist/songwriter David Thomson formed The Pike Bishops after sifting through the ashes of his former band. Rising from the ruins of that band are the rhythm section of, L.A. born bass player Martyn Evans and the crazed Texan, drummer Weston Reid. Having played together since 1992 with a brief layoff in between, the three have reunited to make some noise and to see what kind of trouble they can get themselves into once again. Finalizing the live line-up is musician/actor Orrick Smith (a high school friend of David's) on bass (when Marty is too busy with his computers and rhythm guitar when Marty is playing bass. Don Cruz (yet another of David's high school friends) on keyboards. He's actually a much better guitarist than David, but it's David's band (egomaniac!) so he's stuck playing keys. So, we've got two more guys from San Diego: an actor on rhythm guitar & bass, and a guitarist on keyboards. Go figur |
