Artist description
Quirky, dark, alternative pop with surf, goth, and new wave influences. We either use two basses and no guitar, or a keyboard and no guitar. There is no guitarist in the band. None. We do use the theremin once in a while, however. |

Artist History
There are two versions of this San Francisco-based band. One features bass, keyboards, and drums, the other two basses and drums. Both versions feature the dark, deep vocals of songwriter Robby Virus. The band was formed in 1996 by Robby Virus, who has always been interested in making quirky, out-of-the mainstream, yet catchy and accessible, pop. We have released two full-length CDs, and are currently working on our third. We have extensively toured the San FranciscoBay Area. |
