Artist History The consumate 70's and 80's "Cover Band", The Blacksmith Band was formed in 1970 in Charlotte, NC Playing clubs and concert gigs throughout the Southeast United States, Teh Blacksmith Band became one of the top club bands and moved into "Opening Act" status for many national artists.
