Artist History
It was a damn fine day at the Junior College, when drummer Chesley Bryan met John "Ballgame" Pittman. The drummer figured he could score with the chicks if he mentioned he played music. So he asked Ballgame if he wanted to jam (in front of the girls). There was no takers from the ladies but Pittman did take him up.Lane the freight train Patterson joined in and Paul's Interiew was born. The three bastards...err...I mean gentlemen...began writing immediately and recorded their first album in '94 entitled For the Last.Since the boys have played all over Texas even landing an opening slot for Candlebox.P.I. is still together and has recorded an EP and a live album recently. |

Allan Hubbard of the Paris News says of Paul's Interview"The Band's Arrangements never leave the listener with a dull moment". "Newer materials reveals the band moving in a direcion quiet unlike the original intentions, but a force to be reckoned with just the same." "Fans of Paul's Interview...will find a more driven, heavier sound in contrast to their original progressive pop." Jonathan Rainey of the East Texan says "If you have yet to witness this band perform, you have been missing out on a fine display of talent" "They are a brilliant blend of three instruments being played to their fullest potential." "As I looked around the crowed...everyone was completely awestruck by some of the things the band did. Things that they were not used to seeing or hearing." "Paul's Interview concentrates on stepping forward each time they pick up their instruments" |
