Press Reviews
[Homecoming] can hammer at an issue, f***-up, repeat, and make a general f***ing racket while rolling through your record collections eating everything in sight. -Anthony, Haylo Records, Shredding Paper, August 2001
Bay Area band Homecoming brings a death metal attitude to a hard rock framework. Songs like Sleeping and Dreaming and Prize add a melodic chorus to music and lyrics that owe a clear debt to the Cure and Joy Division. The word weak occurs more than once here but there is a strength to the music - a sense of solidity in the drums and a dynamic sweep in the guitars. -Splendid E-zine, August 13, 2001
