    Artist History
Originally formed by Bobby Shiflett (a.k.a Alamantra) and William Nailen (a.k.a. Kratos) in 1986, PRA quickly established a strong local following in spite of their somewhat infamous reputation. Over the years, PRA has been the breeding ground for many other local musical projects including: Alamantra, Professor Marvel, Grand Orient, ON and Every Little Flower. This says nothing of the other bands that have formed out of its nucleus including The Ticks, The Gargoyles, and Zen Cowboys. PRA has gone through numerous transitions over the years and currently features: Alamantra: Guitar, Vocals; Drew Reid: Bass, Vocals; Steve Casteel: Guitar and Kenny Shiflett: Drums, vocals. In spite of years worth of a variety of material that has explored everything from soft pop, jazz, classical and folk influences, the current lineup is an explosive hard rock guitar sensation in the vein of THE WHO, early STOOGES and so on.
