Artist description Tunnel is a 4 piece guitar driven rock outfit hailing from Brisbane, Australia. The band has gained a reputation for high energy and solid playing and is releasing their debut EP "Adverse" later in 2001.

Music Style Guitar driven rock which leans towards grunge/alternative rather than pop. Chief songwriter Chris Cowan strongly believes in writing meaningful lyrics and strives hard to write songs with integrity.

Artist History The band has been together since early 1998 and has endured only one line-up change when Paul Kowtan (bassist) left in early 2000. Chris, Jeff and Dave (pictured) have been friends for years, often playing together in various cover bands and original projects around South East Queensland. New addition on bass in late 2000 of Doe Prijono, an extremely talented bassist, vocalist and all round funky monk has brought the band to an even higher level of proficiency The band made a decision in 2000 to work harder on original music and the release of a debut CD.
