Artist History Tomaxx began in 1991. We met through a mutual friend in Champaign, Illinois. There, our friendship grew, though Shawn lives in Chicago and Trent in Champaign, we still managed to practice enough to perform and built a fan base which gave birth this release our first and only CD called "Special Guest". Our first performance as a group was Cotton Club 1992 at the University of Illinois and the rest is history.
