    Artist description
Watch out! Tim Garnett is one of the most prolific multi-genre songwriters of our time. Chosen as one of the best top 100 electronic musicians of all times, featured in the top web sites of Paris, France. Tim Garnett composed, arranged, performed, produced, and mixed the entire Sun and Moon project himself. Sun and Moon has already been selected as finalist in many international music contests and has won awards in lyric contests around the world. This is no amateur, secondary artist. Most songs are two to three songs all in one. It is imperative to listen to the songs completely in order to catch the surprise movements and rich changes in rythms and instruments. (Some 264 different instruments in all) So get ready for the journey of true life stories of a coming of age, and the processes of learning, through the experiences we all share, that tie us all together within the hopes and the visions of a better understanding of ourselves and everything that lives and breathes, moves and exists, natural and supernatural, logical and incredible. These are the stories of love, devotion and surrender. These are the stories of ourselves. You never know where Sun and Moon is going to take you, but take you they will, anywhere you´re ready and willing to go. ENJOY!

    Artist History
Sun & Moon is a musical concept created by Tim Garnett. The main idea behind the concept was to fuse many types of music, using many influences from some of the great musicians of our time, creating a new original classification of music which has become known as Invitro-Rock. The basic format is progressive rock, fused with latin music, jazz, alternative, new age, reggae, heavy rock, etc., using classical music orchestrations in the background. The new Sun & Moon project began seven years ago and has produced twenty one albums with over 230 original songs, in many different categories, ranging from alternative heavy rock listening music to acoustic ballads, and from dance music to instrumental futuristic compositions. The title Sun & Moon stems from an attempt to organize a rock festival in Teotihuacan, the site of the aztec pyramids of the Sun and the Moon, the largest and most influencial pyramids in the american hemisphere, of which permission was obviously not granted. (not yet, anyway!) Tim Garnett was born in Richmond, Va. but his family moved to Mexico when he was 5 years old. He started playing guitar when he was 13. Being ambidextrous, he learned to play the guitar left-handed but with the strings of a right handed guitar. Therefore, you could say that he plays an inverted guitar. This rare technique enabled him to create his own original style and very distinct sound. This technique did not make him popular at all with his teachers when he studied music. He quit music school and hit the circuit in the U.S. and after a year of playing the bars in Hawaii, Tim returned to his hometown and to his latin influenced roots in Mexico to begin the new phase of the Sun & Moon project.
