Artist description
The Tighties' history is an epic tale of crime, corruption and quantum physics. Unfortunately, due to restrictions of time and space, that information will not be printed here. However, for a in-depth study of the Tighties and their history, watch for the soon to be released, "Tighties Bible", an interactive adventure in literature which explains in length, the true story of these burgeoning rock gods. |

Music Style
The music of the Tighties is not challenging to define, yet poses a major difficulty in establishing a definition. That is to say homo Tightius fits easily into music genre A, while concurrently destroying the fabric of music genre A, hence the homo Tightius is better labelled as belonging to music genre C, an offshoot of music genre B, sub class IV. |

Musical Influences
The Tighties could cite many influences including Weezer, the Getup Kids, Promise Ring, Atom and his Package, Chavez, Wooden Stars, Golden Lake Diner and Molly Hatchett. Unfortunately for most fans of the afore mentioned rockers, none of these influences ever find their way into the Tighties music (because honestly, if we really sounded like them, we'd be famous too). The classification of the rock n' roll which is performed by the Tighties is more accurately designated by personal taste and ideals. |

Artist History
The modern evolutionary state of the Tighties (that is to say homo tightius) is subdivided into two phases; that of the Steve and that of the Vic. The time of the Steve was a crucial turning point in the evolution of Homo Tightius. In essence, the band decided to get off their respective asses and try and write entertaining and interesting songs. However, the Steve era came to an end as the Steve himself left to become a multi-millionaire in the digital graphics industry (Note: The Steve was 19 at this point, the other Tighties members were 21, 22 and 23. They worked at a banquet center, a video store and in their basements, respectively. The Steve is smarter than the rest of us.) |
