    Artist History
The Everdawn has it´s roots back in the late 80-ties when bands as Decortication & Defleshed were formed. From these bands came the formation of The Everdawn. The band has released one mini-cd (4trax) on Black Diamond Prod & one fullenght cd on now defunct Invasion Records (Ger). The album "Poems - Burn The Past" was released on license in the U.S through Metal Blade Records, home of artists such as Cannibal Corpse etc...

    Press Reviews
This is fast and agressive Thrash/death metal abit in the vain of At The Gates. I haven't had the pleasure of hearing much of A.T.G.'s work so I can't draw and closer parallels. The vocals are much the same as that I've heard of A.T.G. which means extremely agressive and fast stuff that could have been abit annoying in the long run if it hadn't suited the music so well. The music itself has some brilliant heavy/thrash riffs and is well produced. several riffs makes your head nodd back and fourth without you realizing it. It looks like Invasion records have managed to release another very good album. Men istället för hyperspeedad black metal visar "Opera Of The Damned" upp disciplinerade Dark Tranquillity-tendenser. Vidare dyker referenser till At The Gates upp. /Anders Ekdahl (Snurr Mag)
