Artist description The newest member of the band has changed the way we do things a little bit. We now have a Yamaha PSS-12. With a limited sound selection and very limited volume it’s not all that good. It is, however, what it is and we feel privileged to own that little 32 key keyboard. Prior to joining Tenderfoot, the PSS-12 had our guitarist Gavin as her proud owner for all of eight years. Her and Gavin are no longer exclusive. Occasionally this causes problems as we all jostle for her affections. After three and a half years of being in Tenderfoot, Russell had the thought last week that it might be time to change his bass strings - for the first time. We had a band meeting. We agreed that it would be a good idea. We are a band on a budget.

Artist History We think we formed Tenderfoot about four years ago but none of us are really sure. Memories are a little hazy from back then. We know a few things for sure. Guitarists have come and gone, as they tend to do, but some of us have hung around. Russell like a bad smell, Joel like a bad drummer. All three of us like flies around a turd. Over the years though we’ve polished that turd with vigour. My little brother Gavin has also joined the band to help with the polishing. He plays a bit of this, and a bit of that. Just like the rest of us. That boy sure knows his sheen from his shine. We have battled with poor equipment and not an awful lot of money but we’ve trained nearly everyday to perfect our art. We still don’t know diddly-squat about music but we’ve been winging it for years. Long may we run. With all of us doing our own different things such as University and Gap years, not travelling but actually working in The Gap, it has proved difficult to stay in contact and that turd sometimes collects a little dust. Pretty sure we still hold the title of least rehearsed band in Brighton.
