    Artist description
This 20 year-old contemporary R & B songwriter/vocalist is carving a new niche among today’s young artists. With his sultry mid-tempo grooves and irresistible pop ballads it is clear that Seabron is a unique and versatile performer who has something to say to everyone who looks to music to create feeling. Born close to Gainsville, Florida, Seabron was influenced by his father’s love of the classic soulful crooners of the 60’s and 70’s like Otis Redding, Sam Cooke and Stevie Wonder. Seabron has been in the music business since the age of 9, when he secured his first major recording contract through MC Hammer’s record label distributed by Capitol Records. Seabron began songwriting at the age of 12 mentored by one of music’s great industry veterans -- Preston Glass (Miss You Like Crazy, Who’s Zoomin Who?) and has worked in the studio with a multitude of hit-making producers including Chris “Tricky” Stewart (B2K, Mya, Blu Cantrell), Kenny Green (Intro), and Preston Glass (Kenny G, Aretha Franklin, Whitney Houston). An electrifying performer, Seabron has opened for such acts as Boys II Men, TLC, En Vogue, The Temptations and Percy Sledge. In fact, it was Percy Sledge who commented, “I have been in the business for a long time and I’ve never heard anyone sing as well as you do at your age.” Finding comfort in music is what manifested Seabron’s uncanny ability to pen songs that today’s inner city and suburban youth can identify with. Recent projects include lead vocals on the track, "What Did I Say?" on the Braxton Brothers latest CD, Both Sides (Peak Records, 2002). Seabron has spent the last year and a half performing throughout Japan.
