Artist History
In the darkness, a fiery blue spark inspires them...quarter inch jack cranks out heavy, hard-hitting, melodic "Powerful Rock". You know, blistering micro-anthems embodying that basic Rock and Roll steamroller aesthetic.
Their debut CD, titled "Balanced", was recorded in the summer of 2001 aided by high doses of caffeine and a lot of pain medication. Nevertheless, the disc is making its mark on the music community. "The album rips through 11 songs and it's definitely the kind of album you will listen to all the way through, even extending your fingers to hit repeat!" Songs like Driver and Beast Inside are drastic parallels of deeper thought, however songs like Eye and End of This melodically ponder issues of the heart.
Since hitting the Atlanta scene last year, the group has continually expanded its horizons, gigging around Atlanta and pushing heavily on the internet. They have bridged the Atlantic, reaching into Europe with their international street team and have gained a large internet following by tirelessly promoting all over the web. Their goal now is to "plug fans in" by gigging all over the United States in support of their latest release.
Ultimately, its quarter inch jack's live show that generates the most enthusiastic reviews. "Fog, strobe lights and loud music...what else could you ask for?...A kick ass show!" "QIJ lulls you in with a beautiful intro only to rip you apart with a wall of distortion! The singer comes in with an amazing new voice that doesn't sound like anyone else in the business today, these guys are the next group of rockers who are changing the rules and laying the new foundation of ROCK!"
