Artist History Started around 1992, Tailspin was developed from the wreckage of the short-lived St. Louis pop band Bad Posture. The original lineup included Pete on Guitar and Vocals, Levi on Bass and Vocals, Ian on Guitar & Joe on drums. Ian and Levi eventually left and were replace by Bryon & Ray respectively. The band broke up in early 1995. Due to boredom with the music scene and a plethora of new material, Pete started reforming the band in May 2001. The current lineup includes Pete, Bryon,Joe and Ben. Building on it's pop roots from Bad Posture and the fact that everyone who has been in the band up to this point was in some kind of metal band, Tailspin's material is a blend of hard rock with good hooks. Coming up in the early 90's the band throws in some "emo-rock" sensibililties once in a while for good measure. But to put it in a nutshell, Tailspin plays rock and roll. Oh yeah, they may very well be the only band on the planet uglier than Motorhead.
