Artist History Welcome to the Age of Chivalry.Our band name was taken from Thomas Bulfinch’s mythologies.These books, first published in 1848, have been the foremost reference on mythology for many years.Our Cd’s title is the name of the second book in the series, “The Age of Chivalry.”The band was originally formed in 1066, when we were popular traveling minstrels during King Arthur’s reign. When Camelot fell, Merlin (the magician) foresaw dark times ahead and cast a spell that put us in a deep sleep. We were awakened in 1965 by the construction of an overpass. We traveled to America and by 1967 (3 months before Sgt. Peppers) our first album “The Age of Chivalry” was ready for world wide release.On our way to a pre-release party, we were abducted by aliens from the planet Bardo. Our mysterious disappearance caused the cancellation of the release of “The Age of Chivalry.”We toured Bardo and then the galaxy for 12 years, and we were immensely popular.By that time we were getting bored and wanted to return to Earth. The year was 1979(the height of the disco era) Knowing that disco sucked, the aliens placed us in cryogenic suspension until such a time when people might come to their senses and abandon that horrid sound.We instructed our alien friends to awaken us in the year 2000 and now feel that, although still somewhat flawed, the world may be ready for Mythology BullfinchSo here we are!
