Artist History
Formed in late 1999 by Paul Ballance and calling on the services of ex Cockney Rebel, Milton Reame-James as co-producer/keyboard player/co-writer together with guitarist/co-writer Maciek Hrybowicz, Megabop completed the album "Interworld" at the Wickording Studio, Surrey. Milton Reame-James played keyboards and recorded on the first two critically acclaimed Cockney Rebel LPs for EMI; "Psychomodo" and "Human Menagerie". Paul, Maciek and Milton released records as the original Warm Jets/Electric Eels for RSO Records,Rocket Records/Mercury and Polydor. Sadly the bass player of the Electric Eels, Paul Jeffries died on Pan Am 103 that blew up over Lockerbie in 1988. His songwriting contributions are included on some of the Megabop tracks. Paul Ballance was more recently inspired by the modern dance music exemplified by Fatboy Slim, Chemical Brothers, Laurent Garnier, Leftfield. |
