Artist description
It's just me and a lot of secret stuff I can't tell you about.Just a thought, for those of you that live in the Gainesville, Florida area, and play guitar but are not already in some other group, I am always accepting applications. Perhaps you have a band already and would like to record. E-mail me from this site. I have a very meager studio in my apt. But to record with me you get to do it for freeEXCEPT: The only thing you need to bring are blank CD-R's and we're rollin'. SO, COME ON DOWN FOLKS!! |
 |
Music Style
I have no style,( you oughta see what I wear when I go into public) but hey, my imaginary friends sure dig it |
 |
Musical Influences
First and Foremost my influences came from my woderful parents (all four). As far as music goes and what I listen to, for the most part I like anything with heart and soul. Dr. John, Bela Fleck and the Flecktones ( you must see these guys live!!), Professor Long Hair, Frank Zappa (and kids), Steve Vai, Joe Satriani, Eric Johnson, Stevie Ray Vaughn, Eric Clapton, Carlos Santana, etc. you get the point right? Not mention I'm a huge fan of Cajun music. I highly reccommend checking out Wayne Toups. He's a hell of a accordion player and a good friend of my family. Everyone needs to unleash the coonass inside every now and again. So sit down with a 50lbs bag of crawfish and dig on some sweet summa bayou livin' Cajun style. |

Artist History
I've been doing this for about 5 minutes and it shows. I was in two different bands when I was in the US Army. If you go to my links page. There you'll find William Brown and Nole Simmons. The three of us were known as the Amazing Jive Turkeys. Unfortunately, I have no real descent recording of the Amazing Jive Turkeys, But i am working on salvaging the ones that I do have. The other band that I was in, also while in the US Army, still had William Brown on drums and an amazing guitar player, Brad Jarrell. That band was known as TNT (The Nifty Three). I do have some really good recordings of that band. But, alas, they are on cassette tapes. Maybe I'll get them posted some day. With everyone elses permission, of course. |
