Artist description The Lounge Derbies were founded in 1997, in a place called Eugene Oregon. Now, our music is bursting out of our town, with fans even across the world. Who ever thinks they are going to be in a band? Well, we never did until we got together and made it happen. We all felt the urge to express ourselves, and somehow got together. It took over a year of finding the right members until, The Lounge Derbies were an actual band. Our first show, like many bands, was a party gig. Since then we've played with: The Toasters, Lets Go Bowling, Five Iron Frenzy. Also in clubs and venues around the country. All the members of the band trade off singing and playing, to create a multi-diverse in-yo-face blend of Ska, Pop, and Punk. Blasting horns, powerful vocal harmonies, and occasional guest singers, make it a nonstop flow of fun. All of our fans agree, that there is no where better than on the stage for The Lounge Derbies. Our road has taken us across Oregon, Idaho, Washington, and many cities in Japan. Now after 4 years of good times, and working together on our first album, we're ready to do another. All our new songs bring out our true potential, and soon we hope to bring to life our burning desire to make music. Its for you, the listeners. The people who connect with our music individually, that's why we care.

Artist History A new history for The Lounge Derbies is about to begin. We're just starting to record our new album with brand new music. Our music is changing, no longer limited to Ska, we searching for a more eclectic sound. One of our main goals with this album, is to show how we have evolved as musicians, and get our feet of the ground. We're grown up and still rockin'. Hopefully this new album will help us define what we want to be as musicians, and where we are going.
