Artist History
C(X) was formed in September of 1999, when Dan Rivais and Brennan Heath met in their first year of university. The two went on to form the core of the band, and in August 2001 recruited vocalist Lisa Mior and drummer Trev.
With drawn influences from all across the music spectrum, C(X) uses dark guitars blended with tranquil melodies to create their sound. Add in the occasional groove of trip hop, and the pure grind of industrial noise for refinement, and C(X) has an innovative style that is their own. Their fresh approach to alternative metal makes them a unique entity in the Toronto music scene.
