Artist History
Smith, Funk and Strauss is an acoustic trio based in Winnipeg, Manitoba. The style is melodic upbeat rootsy folk and pop. Andrew crafts authentic personal expression into memorable songs. The show features tight playing, the rich vocals of bandmates Sherri Funk and Norm Strauss, and a relaxed and fun stage presence.
The group moved to Winnipeg from B.C. in 1997. They have been performing around such Winnipeg venues as The King's Head Pub, The West End Cultural Centre, The Fringe Festival, The Pyramid Cabaret - even Can-West Global Park singing our national anthem!
The trio has developed their own unique approach to Christmas music; the result is their 1999 CD 'Say No More-It's Christmas Time'. In 2002 Smith, Funk, and Strauss released a self-titled ep of original songs.

Tbrough his well-crafted, tbought-provoking lyrics and melodies, be invites you on a journey of the heart ... a rare breed of artist ... with his acoustic trio 'Say No More' the audience is treated to a rich blend of jazz, folk and blues.
