Artist description
I guess you would call my music dismal, even though I would rather think of it as real. These are dismal times or at least my perception of them is. I'm not a pessimist by any means I'm just real, I see things how they are not how I'd like them to be. So thats what I try and write about, My frustration with reality and my inability to accept it. And also you may sense a hint of alienation on there as well, because along with my inability to accept the way life is, I have an inability to conform to a certain lifestyle. And I'm not talking about fashion either, I don't define myself by my outer appearance. I'm talking about what's inside, the conclusions one draws and the way one handles them. My conclusions of life and daily situations seem to conflict or are the opposite of most people. So that makes it difficult to adapt and to interact in lots of social situations. Which of course results in alienation. But enough about that
I try not to make it too personal although it seems to still be, I'd rather write vague lyrics so that everyone can draw their own conclusions to what the song is about. I think it's better that way, I mean who wants to hear about my daily life, I get bored just thinking about it. That is not to say that my music has no meaning, it has lots of meaning I just write it in a way that everyone gets something different. At least that is my intent.
I like to make the music have a beat as well as a point. I'm into techno drums and Hip hop rhythms. I like trance in some ways just because when you "Zone out" you're more open to ideas entering your mind. And I'm all about influencing thought, changing the programing our society has entered into us. Not to say I'm above it, just aware of it. So draw what you will from my music and enjoy first and foremost |
