Artist History
The Vermicious Knid is a group of four friends who write songs and call themselves a band. They don't classify their music as anything in particular and don't feel that you need to either. It's easy to enjoy something for what it is if you try. This is their general attitude. They are friendly, and will greet you with smiles and stupid jokes. They've been a band since October 2000, and have always kept themselves busy. So far they've released two EP's - one independently in 2001 and a second, more formal release on Antiantenna Recordings in 2002. They've toured twice across half of Canada now, once successfully, the second time falling victim to mechanics of their van. They will always work hard at writing and recording music that they're proud of and hope that you enjoy what they're doing |

Press Reviews
"Viscerally attractive, and yet subtle enough to spur contemplation as well. That's tough to accomplish, but The Vermicious Knid seems to do it effortlessly. The sort of disc that's almost impossible to put away."//"There's pure enjoyment in hearing such quality and capacity that this band exposes in an outright and real way, in that what every track displays is a smart pop edge that has the abrasive ability to lure the more well-rounded listener, as well as even mainstream listerners to new depths."
