Artist description The chojin is a rock band based in Connecticut. It is made up of four university students, Evan, Dan, Nick, and Viktor. We sound a little like the Smiths, Hum, Sunny Day Real Estate, the Sundays. The music is emotional, but not emo (just in case you know what that is, we aren't it. close, but no shitty pop-punk singer, no constant girlfriend whiny songs, no reuse of same riff for every song, no cheap sentimentality). The band was formed of a mutual love for music, anime, and weapons of mass- destruction. The band's original influences include Far, the Cure, the Smiths, but all four members have quite a variety of influences and backgrounds. This in no way means that we are some kind of funk fusion band or any ill shit like that. No country-rock, no rap-core, no emo-punk, no metal-anything; no whack, contrived shit so to speak. If anything, heartfelt folk songs at occasional high volume and intensity. We play what we feel and every song is different. Like us and support us, because we like you, and we are doing something honest and real; something worth being a part of.
