Artist History The south of Sweden. Once, or maybe twice upon a time there was a band. It contained Stefan, Jon, Paul Wennstrom and Christian Nilsson. Back then it was ugly. Lots of Metallica, Deep Purple and such.However, in July, 1990, Conny joined the band and brought The Beatles and Pink Floyd in as influences. Much now happend at once: a girl joined the band (Asa Lindgren), new lyrics and tunes were written and the name changed to Bogans!In November, 1991, the band made their first gig at Halmkarven in Halmstad. Great fun! This was it! Soon the Bogans played wherever possible: small festivals, pubs, bandcontests, everything.After a while Asa quit. And Christian. And Paul. The threesome left made some changes in the tunes and kept on playing, now with Conny on bassguitar, Stefan on guitar and Jon still banging them skins. The music turned from sweet pop to something a little more aggressive, but still with the roots from Brit pop from the 60´s1999 Jimmy joined the band. Great fun again! Yeah, yeah, yeah! Jimmy made it possible to do more choir-singing and adding more guitars to everything. Today The Bogans is a swedish popband with great laughs and popmusic!
