Artist description
The latest rendition of Lame is a poppy-rock sound borrowing heavily from early 50s rock and roll, quirky 60s pop/rock, and an overall feeling of "Hey, its like I've known this song my whole life!" Lame wants to be fun: no cryptic messages, no esoteric references, just pure rock and roll that makes you want to get up and dance like an idiot. So lighten up a little... its okay to be Lame. |

Artist History
Lame started in early 2000 with Andy Berthusen on bass, Troy Franklin and Eric Burchett on guitars, and Matt Lancetot on drums. A live act was intended, but when Matt left the remaining three decided to record some of their silly songs. A couple of songs exploded into a 14 song collection called the Shady Glen Sessions. The remaining members traded off on intruments, and with the miracle of over-dubbing, created an album. Troy left in August to pursue school in LA. Andy and Eric decided to take the Shady Glen songs and put together a live band. They went to guitars, and recruited Nate Sieveking on bass and Becky Shaw on drums. This is the Lamewe know and love today. |
