Artist description The Joynt Chief's sound combines sharp lyrics and powerful vocals mixed with mad guitar sounds and deadly DJ cuts, driven by hard-hitting beats, and skilled bass rhythms. Originally formed in 1998, the JCs have pieced together one of the hardest hitting and hardest working bands in the Las Vegas local music scene. The current line-up has been together since December 2000 and has enjoyed playing for Las Vegas venues such as the House of Blues, the Boston, Sanctuary, and the Huntridge. They have currently finished their 2nd demo CD, which is scheduled for release in 2001. Within the next year the band plans on taking their show on the road. By playing out of town shows, the band seeks to spread the word and gain exposure to the national public. Meanwhile, the band has been fortunate enough to play with all their local band favorites and open for some national acts for AJ Presents.
