Artist description Frank Varano is a guitarist whose travels to 21 countries have widely influenced his musical style and writing. His second CD, "Voyages and Return," has already sold nearly 3,000 copies without having to rely on any marketing or distribution agencies. He is presently working on his third solo CD.

Artist History Frank has been playing and teaching guitar for the last 15 years. He has frequently performed concerts on two continents in between recording his self produced albums and developing an interactive guitar instructional website, found at http://www.teachyourselfguitar.com. As a child, he was drawn to the guitar after listening to groups such as Led Zeppelin, Jimi Hendrix, Rush, and the Beatles. He had already been playing for three years when he discovered J.S. Bach and the entire classical genre. The love of these two diametrically opposed musical styles, coupled with his familiarity of musical traditions from 21 countries, helped Frank's guitar playing to emerge as a completely unique, inimitable, and unforgettable sound.
