Artist History DON'S MUSICAL BACKGROUND:Don comes from a very musical family and was greatly influenced by his father's love of the Chet Atkins style of guitar and says along with that early influence old country, western swing and bluegrass are still a few of his favorite styles of music. Don has toured with Country Music Hall of Fame Star Hank Thompson. He has opened shows for such stars as Ricky Skaggs, Michael Johnson and Bluegrass Legends Jim & Jesse, and has also won "Best Guitarist Award" at the Kamloops Bluegrass & Country Music Festival. Playing music for over 30 years, Don loves to play those classic country and western swing tunes.
