Artist description Unsung Zeros are an indie pop-rock band from Orlando, Florida. Press Reviews All I can say is "WOW". I thought the Unsung Zeros were one of the best and most promising indie pop punk bands back when they released their self-titled demo. Now, they're undoubtably, second to none, one of the best bands in the scene. It just boggles my mind how a band that was already so good can become so much better. The People Mover will be a candidate for my favorite album of 2000, for sure. It contains a few of my favorite songs off the demo, especially "Smile", a killer track that put the UZ on the map. Three other demo tracks appear on this disc, but make note: they are rerecorded, remastered, revamped, and sounding more crisp and more polished than ever. The new tracks are more of everything done in excellence. The recording quality is absolutely fantastic. A suitable string of adjectives to describe this album: fast, intense, melodic, and technical. Everything sounds flawless, from the polished, defined, technical drumming, to the brilliant guitar hooks and solos, not to overshadow the solid bass lines that can be a strong foundation and a lead instrument at the same time, and one couldn't possibly forget the lyrical/vocal combination showcasing some of the punk poetry ever writen.
