Artist History
Spinning Jenny formed in 1991 and was soon recognized for its' Beatlesque sound. The Arizona Republic named them Best Alternative Band that same year and the band began playing to packed clubs throughout Tempe. In 1995, the band released their first CD, "Piņata Full of Bees", which Audities magazine noted as one of the finest releases of the year. In 1997, the band shortened their name and released "Dandelion"; they played the International Pop Overthrow festival the following summer. "Remarkable Similarity", a song which first appeared on the Del-Fi CD of the same name, is featured on MP3.com and will be on the band's forthcoming third CD. |
