Artist description Potassium is a new Rock group to come out of Halifax, Nova Scotia. There are four members of Potassium; John Murphy, Jon Bruhm, Christian Simmons and Nick Li.

Artist History John Murphy, who wanted fellow musicians to help him professionally record a few songs that he had written, formed the band. Through contacts, John met up with co-founder Jon Bruhm. After a long search for the right guy, they found a drummer and began practicing these songs. Soon the three realized that they worked well together, and decided to form Potassium. After the recording sessions were over, they decided that they needed another guitarist to help play live, so Nick Li joined the band. Now, with a new drummer, Christian Simmons the band is better than ever, playing more live shows and working on a CD
