Artist description
Named after a long defunct brand of pop (soda that
is) , Mission Orange Drink is nearly as bubbly and
twice as syrupy as its namesake. Why give your
kids something nutritous or wholesome like milk or
apple juice, when they can mainline pure refined
sugar, barely disolved in a solution of water,
artificial food coloring and chemo-flavoring?
We'll cram it down your throat long after it's
stopped tasting good going down. |

Artist History
The band started in 1996 out of the ashes of the
Northampton Mass. power pop band Miss Reed. While
the lead singer of Miss Reed left the band to do
more important things, the former members got
together, with a little help from some friends
from the bustling Northampton music scene, and
made a record for no label, with no money, for no
good reason. This is the result of that session. |

Group Members
Mission Orange Drink is a heavier pop side project of
Frank Padellaro (King Radio, Scud Mt. Boys)
The band also features former Scuds bassist
Stephen Desaulnier, King Radioites David Trenholm
and Ken Maiuri, and Paul Pelis on Drums. A mostly
recording project, Mission Orange has added multi
instrumentalist John Lebhar on lead guitar to
their live performance roster. |
