    Artist History
In the winter of 1983, Mike Brown walked out of a local music store in Friedrichshafen, Germany carrying his first drum machine. Upon his return to the United States the following year, he traded a surfboard for a minimoog synthesizer and, consequently, began programming beats and creating strange guitar textures and synth atmospheres. In 1985, he borrowed an IBM PC XT and started experimenting with computer controlled synthesis & sequencing. After founding several seminal & influential bands, (most notably Cafe Noire), Mike relocated to the Pacific Northwest and began working on solo efforts. Combining his previous signature style of experimental electronics with samples of ethnic, mediaeval and classical voices and instruments, he developed a type of hybrid Electrorganica that envelops the listener in a far off world of aural visualization.

***************************************************************************** "Trance cross-pollinated with Jungle, Ambient, Tribal and Electro stylings makes for an awe-inspiring, spiritual listening experience. Sharp electro stabs streak across an epic arrangement of organic textures" --Lycos.com ***************************************************************************** "...Near-East-meets-deep-space trance" --Willamette Week ***************************************************************************** "Ethereal, entrancing and exciting...a unique mix of electronic and classic elements that blend together uniquely to create a gorgeous sonic landscape" --RollingStone.com viewer ***************************************************************************** "Industrial-edged electronica with a smooth, funky bassline. As innovative as it sounds" --mp3.com ***************************************************************************** "Electro-Ethnicism!!!!!" --Ikarus ***************************************************************************** "Sitar and tabla spark a heated debate on who is boss. Sitar, armed with the magic soothing snakes, will not stand down. Tablas state their offensive, richocheting off the marble walls of a mausoleum. Chaos blends into a smmoth groove as Sitar and Tabla learn to cooperate. Too late for giving out awards for being able to live with one another, the biggest, baddest bullies are yet to enter the arena. Witness the bloodshed as ripping 303 basslines tear apart the liver fragments of Sitar. Wince in humiliating sympathy as the Tablas are gutted and fried by the point blank bass riffs. Carnage and gore flies everywhere, as barbed wire synth comps and sickened guitar runs thrash their way through the orgy of pain. Who the hell's gonna clean up this mess? Well, we have Crystal Method cowering in the corner due to the scene created by Electronium, so let's put those punks to work!" --Integrated Arts VII ***************************************************************************** "spooky and groovy, ...mixes a great beat with so many fantastic elements, it's indescribable-and wonderful all at once" --DevilDog ***************************************************************************** "Shift down, focus inward, and Electronium's Takbir Arcana will grab you and pull you down to where you've never been" --Favorite Psychedelic Headtrips ***************************************************************************** "...a very cool track! A very dreamful track, beautiful atmospheres that will take you to all sorts of wonderous places! Great!" --Robert E James ***************************************************************************** "Great drums, ghostly vocal samples, what sounds like a flute, and some acid tinged effects. A very slick and well-done bit of electronic music" --Mission Control II ***************************************************************************** "really good . it has the whole future sounds to it. i like it" --nikki519 ***************************************************************************** "electrorganica awsome beats and beauty" --skot moat, mysecretsatan ***************************************************************************** "Gives me goosebumps! Very FSOL" --Richard Hoar, SwitchGear ***************************************************************************** "electronic -ethnic -ambient stuff... great!" --DJ Gerard ***************************************************************************** "Very cool.
