Artist description The band is made up of 4 main members, however has a wide range of guests artists, including S. Swann (bass player Dub warriors)& Jah rej (Jah works label).Known in ENGLAND as one of the best live dub bands on the Free festival dates of the late 80s early mid 90's. Also played a number of times in the 90's at Glastonbury & Womad. Recorded music is rare of the band. We send respect and love to all who know Luap (paul McCabe 09/06/70-16/07/2000)

Artist History In the early 80’s an estimated 100,000 people gathered regularly at Stonehenge, Wiltshire in England. Making Stonehenge one of the worlds largest free music festival. Stonehenge was only one of a growing number of free music festivals happening around this time. These festivals became the center of the traveling communities way of life. Until the battle of the bean field, in 1985. Dub the earth had been one of the best known bands on the free music circuit. The first band to play at Stonehenge following the bean field. The band has not only been known for the free circuit, but also the better-known festivals like Glastonbury and Womad etc. The original line up included not only present day members like Dion & Lynn , but also Fred who went on to be bass player with R.D.F, Luap who also went on to play with R.D.F. Dub the earth have always been associated with a number of band who used an old dairy to practice in, including Chocolate teapot, Kaya, R.D.F, Military surplus, The Dub Warriors. Someone who has constantly played with the band is Steve Swann, better known as the bass player as the bass player for the REVOULUTIONARY DUB WARRIORS. Dub the earth; have toured England for over ten years. Rare recorded music has in the passed been snatched up, making it a rarity up to NOW!. Earth sounds have the largest collection of recorded material from the great dub band. Not only live and in session recordings, but also unreleased studio tracks like Harmonics dub, recorded for the one foundation LP, but never used. Also the re-working of well known D.T.E songs done at Earth sounds.

Group Members Present full timers.Vocal/Keyboard=EmmaBass=DionDrums=LynnPercussion/Vocals=Rick(original line-up=Lynn,Dion,Fred,Luap,Jim & Austin). Other early members include Ital Malk, Darren Applebe,Chris freshwater,Carter & Chris Bosher (Radical dance factor). The band has also frequently used the talents of Steve Swann & Richear patterson,now with the Dub warriors (www.dubwarriors.com)
