Artist History A former member of the group ‘Sister, Sister’, Dorothy Kelly has been performing live and recording seriously for over seven years. For much of that time, she acted as Percussionist and Harmonist with her sisters’s ‘Helen McGreedy and Juanita Bell. Dorothy has had a great deal of experience working with other fine professional musicians along the length and breath of the eastern seaboard of Australia. With a half Irish and half New Zealand Maori background, she received her early, mostly self-taught, musical education from a large family of fine musicians. In 1998, she won a spot at the prestigious Queensland Country Music Muster at Amamoor Gympie, for the best busking duo. Currently she is writing songs for the Alternate Group ‘ Three Legged Dog’, and developing her original songs with Producer Larry Larstead, at Tin Can Digital Recordings, Tin Can Bay, South East Queensland, Australia.
